Asus U30JC-B1 is a 13.3" ultraportable laptop. It is a performance system designed for those that need an extremely mobile and reliable computing solution. The notebook features Intel Core Series processors and Nvidia Optimus graphics technology; both of these innovative performance computing solutions. The system itself weighs 4.8 lbs. Model U30JC-B1 runs on an Intel Core i3 processor. This is an entry-level performance processor that features Intel's Hyper-Threading technology. This technology facilitates in dispersing workloads by virtually increasing the number of usable cores on the processor. Dedicated graphics is always a bonus, especially when one wants to game or run graphic intensive applications. In ultra-portables of this display size, they're virtually impossible to find. Fortunately Asus has put together this system. Asus U30JC-B1 uses a hybrid graphics solution by Nvidia called Optimus. This graphics solution switches between a discrete GeForce 310M controller and an Intel integrated graphics controller depending on usage.
